Wheat Problems Can Be Solved Through Biotech

If there is something that must not be out of the list of meals in northern African countries and Middle East countries, it should be bread. Now that there have been rifts in these areas for more than a month now, the prices of wheat considerably took its toll. This is why a significant fraction of the wheat industry are saying that it may be the best time now to lend our eyes at the aspect of biotech.

Several years ago, the idea of looking into biotechnology was raised as a solution to the raging problems of the wheat industry. However, it was not given enough attention even though growers have been turning its loyalty towards planting corn. If only biotech researches are to be made, the problem about wheat can be solved by growing crops with modified traits.
