Biotech Development Faces Protest In Last Forest in Eastern Palm Beach of Florida

A war of sorts is all set between the environmentalists and biotech Company Scripps Florida over the last remaining forest land in eastern Palm Beach. Environmental activists are against the development of biotech facility in the last piece of land.

The biotech company Scripps Florida is planning to move the second phase of their biotech city project to Briger forest [a 680 acre forest], near Florida Atlantic University. The place is a very important habitat of the endangered spices. So to save this place environmental civil disobedience took place but the place is going to turn into a biotech facility as it has all development approvals.

According to a survey since 2003 the Florida taxpayers have invested over $1.5 billion in the biotech industry creating 1000+ jobs.
